The Berrenrather Börde is a cultural landscape of approximately 1100 hectares that was created by the mining of lignite. It is located in the district of the city of Hürth in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia and is named after the district of Berrenrath of the city of Hürth.
The Börde is located to the west of the city center and to the west of the district of Berrenrath. To the south lies the district of Kierdorf in Erftstadt. Following in a clockwise direction are the districts of Brüggen, Balkhausen, and Türnich of the city of Kerpen. To the north of the Börde runs the federal road 264; in the eastern area, the federal motorway 1 crosses the region. The county road 50 crosses the area in an east-west direction as Berrenrather Straße. Along it are the two hamlets of Berrenrath and Brüggen. To the southeast, outside the district, lies the Zieselsmaar.
