The Roman Catholic pilgrimage church Zum Heiligen Kreuz is located in Süchterscheid, a district of the town of Hennef in North Rhine-Westphalia. The core of the church contains a Romanesque chapel from the 12th century.
The Romanesque Holy Cross Chapel, whose groin-vaulted choir with adjoining semicircular apse has been preserved, dates back to the second half of the 12th century. Around 1688, the chapel received a half-timbered nave. In the Second World War, the chapel was destroyed except for the choir.
