The Bitterbach Gorge is located in the northwest of the urban area of Lauf an der Pegnitz in the Middle Franconian district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria. It is a gorge cut by the narrow wooded area through which the Bitterbach flows.
The Bitterbach Gorge starts at Brunnenweg in the district of Rudolfshof, follows the course of the Bitterbach towards the south-southeast, and ends at the road Am Bitterbach in the district of Kotzenhof.
