The Golden Lamb was a significant fairground located in the heart of the old town of Frankfurt am Main, situated between the Cathedral and the Römer, in the alley behind the Lamb. Its origins date back to the late Middle Ages, but the last remaining buildings were mostly from the Baroque period. In the early 20th century, the site was halved during the construction of Braubachstraße, and the remaining part incorporated into the street was destroyed in World War II. As part of the Cathedral-Römer project, the Golden Lamb was externally reconstructed from 2014 to 2017 to resemble its pre-war state.
