The house at Meliesallee 24 in Düsseldorf-Benrath was built in 1925 based on designs by the architect Kallenbach. Stylistically, the building is related to the Hannemann house, which is considered an “English country house with echoes of Palladianism” and a “typical example of the nearly exclusively conservative modernism in country house construction of those years.” The house is also regarded as an example of a “dominant trend of those years.” Stylistically, the house is comparable to Theodor Merrill's houses in Cologne.
