It is located on the Südring and had to protect the endangered southwestern corner. Among the buildings of the Horstmarer Burgmannen, it is the oldest. The name comes from the first owners, the Lords of Borchorst. As with the other farms, there is also a high wall along the entire length of the property facing the street. The entrance consists of two stone pillars with vases. The main house, which was modified shortly before 1800, is interesting because of its gables.
They still come from the original construction. We find very high gable steps made of bricks without the usual sandstone corners. The individual steps have pedestals positioned at an angle on their sides. The closest relatives of these early gable forms can be found in Schloss Herten near Recklinghausen.
