In 1979/80, the Großer Spieker got a little brother. It comes from the farming community of Empte near Dülmen from the Lülf-Pelkum-Iker farm and was used there as a bakery and brewery. This spike comes from Flemish master builders, as can be seen from the wind braces in the corners. With an area of 5.55m x 6.16m, it is 1/3 smaller than the Großer Spieker, but probably older.
