The art museum "Am Herrenberg" puts a once best address on the square, Am Herrenberg 1, back in the right light. The completely renovated building houses parts of a high-quality private art collection with a focus on paintings from the "Gouden Eeuw".
This great heyday in art and culture in the Netherlands spans the entire 17th century. This period produced such world-famous artists as Rembrandt, van Rijn and Jacob von Ruisdael. In the Museum am Herrenberg you can see paintings by some other well-known painters of this era, most of whom were themselves students of the greatest artists of their time.
