Named after the former Schulzenhof "Alter Hof Herding" in Coesfeld-Lette, the Kurt and Lilly Ernsting Foundation for Art and Culture was established in 1996. Its aim is to promote art and culture in the Coesfeld region. Through its created institutions, such as the Glass Museum, Old Barn, Glass Depot, and concert theater coesfeld, it realizes the promotion of visual and performing artists and their works.
