Efter den tidligere skolegård "Alter Hof Herding" i Coesfeld-Lette blev kunst- og kulturfondet for ægteparret Kurt og Lilly Ernsting navngivet. Det blev grundlagt i år 1996. Det har til formål at fremme kunst og kultur i regionen Coesfeld. I de dertil skabte institutioner, Glasmuseum, Gamle Tenne, Glasdepot og koncertteateret Coesfeld, realiserer det fremme af de visuelle og scenekunstnere og deres værker.
