Steinhöfel is a village and a former municipality in the Uckermark district, in Brandenburg, Germany. The village was incorporated on 26 October 2003 and was previously an independent municipality.
Steinhöfel is located eleven kilometres northwest of the town of Angermünde as the crow flies in a lake-rich terminal moraine landscape in the southern Uckermark and is part of the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. Steinhöfels borders in the north on Wilmersdorf, in the east on Greiffenberg, in the southeast on Görlsdorf, in the south on Parlow-Glambeck , in the west on the community of Temmen-Ringenwalde and in the northwest on the community of Flieth-Stegelitz . The district of Steinhöfel includes the residential areas of Friedrichsfelde and Neuhaus. In the municipal area are the former residential areas of Heinrichshagen and Krummensee.
