Hoherlehme is a district of the town of Wildau in the Dahme-Spreewald district. The place was first mentioned in a document in 1375. In 1922, the locality was renamed Wildau, and the focus of development shifted about one kilometer to the east. Since then, the original settlement of Hoherlehme has successively been a residential area, a district, or a part of the community of Wildau, and since April 1, 2013, a part of the city of Wildau.
The village green of Hoherlehme is located about 1.6 km away from the Friedrich-Engels-Straße/Fontaneallee roads along the Dahme, where the current center of the town of Wildau is situated. The old village center of Miersdorf is just under two kilometers away in a straight line, and the city center of Königs Wusterhausen is about 2.5 km to the southeast. In total, four major roads lead to the village green: Miersdorfer Straße from the north, Freiheitsstraße and Bergstraße from the east, and Chausseestraße from the south. The town center is located at about 60 m above sea level.
