Mittelbusch is a village in the municipality of Schwielowsee, in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark, located in the district of Ferch. The settlement was laid out around 1683 or before 1683 as an outpost of the manor of Bliesendorf and was a rural community around 1860. It was incorporated into Ferch in 1928.
The old centre of Mittelbusch is about 1.4 km north-northwest of the old centre of Ferch on the west bank of the Schwielowsee, and about 700 metres north of the old centre of Neue Scheune. The residential area of Kammerode is located about 1.6 km west of Mittelbusch. The centre of the village is 34 m above sea level. Today, the residential district of Mittelbusch has developed with the core of the residential area called Neue Scheune. From the centre of Ferch, you can reach Mittelbusch via Mühlengrund, Glindower Weg, Neue Scheune and Fercher Straße. From Mittelbusch, Fercher Straße continues to Löcknitz, a residential area of the city of Werder.
