Görsbach is a municipality in the district of Nordhausen in Thuringia. The fulfilling municipality for Görsbach is the town of Heringen/Helme.
Görsbach is located in an agricultural region. It is a village of the Golden Aue at the Kelbra Dam east of Nordhausen. To the north, the foothills of the Harz mountains begin near Uftrungen, and to the south, the Aue is bordered by the Hainleite and the Kyffhäuser massif. The Federal Motorway 38 passes north of the village’s district. Görsbach itself is located on the state road 3080. The village has a stop on the Halle–Hann. Münden railway line. The district Aumühle also belongs to Görsbach.
