The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Emern, a district of Wrestedt in the Samtgemeinde Aue in the district of Uelzen, is a neo-Gothic brick church.
The predecessor building, an old fieldstone chapel from the 14th century, survived the village fire in 1845 to a large extent, but was nevertheless demolished in 1893 and replaced by the current church building by Conrad Wilhelm Hase. The new building was consecrated on 22 October 1893 and received two new bells and a tower clock in 1898.
However, the massive building quickly proved to be oversized for the small village.
