Volpriehausen is the second largest district of the town of Uslar near the Solling edge in the southern Lower Saxony district of Northeim.
Volpriehausen is located at the southeast edge of the Solling and the Solling-Vogler Nature Park in the valley of the Rehbach near the Bollert located to the east. Neighboring villages - each about 1.5 km away - are the Uslar districts of Delliehausen, Schlarpe, and Gierswalde. The central town of Uslar is about 7 km to the west.
