The Schwarzbachtal nature reserve is located in the town of Lichtenau in the district of Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The area stretches southeast of the core town of Lichtenau and northeast of Blankenrode, the southernmost district of Lichtenau, along the Schwarzbach. To the southwest runs the A 44 and to the east the B 68.
