The district of Sankt Goar was a district in Rhineland-Palatinate. It was established in 1816 as the district of Sankt Goar, after the Rhineland became Prussian. Administratively, it belonged to the government district of Koblenz in the Province of Grand Duchy of Lower Rhine and was divided into the municipalities of Bacharach, Boppard, Brodenbach, Halsenbach, Niederheimbach, Obergondershausen, Oberwesel, Pfalzfeld, Sankt Goar, and Wiebelsheim. Initially, there were 74 municipalities in the district, and at the time of its dissolution, there were still 70 municipalities.
