The Kingdom of Beisen is a former mining colony in the Essen district of Katernberg. It is located east of the Zollverein shaft complex 3/7/10 at the city border to Gelsenkirchen-Rotthausen.
The colony In den Beisen on Kraspothstraße and Röckenstraße was established between 1902 and 1903 and is part of the themed route 2 – Industrial Cultural Landscape Zollverein of the Route of Industrial Culture.
