The Schillviertel is a purely residential district located in the south of Wesel's city centre between Bundesstraße 58 and Bundesstraße 8. A small part of streets also named after Schill's hunters lies north of Schillstraße and is bordered to the north by the Esplanade. This is followed by the core area of the city centre. Luisenstraße runs in a north-south direction as the main axis through the district. The Dinslakener Landstraße and the Oberhausen–Arnhem railway behind it form the border to the district of Fusternberg in the east.
