The Alexianer Monastery in Aachen is the motherhouse of the religious community of the Alexian Brothers located at Alexianergraben in Aachen, with its first documented mention dating back to 1391. The current building complex consists of the convent building with St. Alexius Church as well as the annexed building sections of the connected Alexianer Hospital. The Clemens Building with the church was rebuilt in 1929 according to plans by the Düsseldorf architect Wilhelm Pauen and was placed under monument protection in 1980.
