The Peace Hall in the Town Hall
During the Thirty Years' War, the Peace Hall in Osnabrück's town hall was one of the two places of negotiation for the Peace of Westphalia and hence its name. Today it is one of the main sights of Osnabrück and serves the city for receptions. In its original function as a council chamber, it is still the venue for the annual Osnabrück Hand Poison Day on 2 January.
