The Evangelical Lutheran Church Cloppenburg is the church of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation of Cloppenburg. It is located at Ritterstraße 6a in Cloppenburg.
On July 6, 1543, Hermann Bonnus introduced a drafted evangelical church order in the districts of Meppen, Cloppenburg, and Vechta. In 1613, the region was recatholicized. With the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss of 1803, the districts of Cloppenburg and Vechta became part of the evangelical Duchy of Oldenburg, leading to more and more evangelical people settling in Cloppenburg over time.
