The Dieksee is a lake near Lingen. It is located in the picturesque landscape protection area of Emstal in Lower Saxony. It is 300 meters long and up to 270 meters wide. At the lake, there is a youth hostel with accessible facilities, an internal sauna with steam bath, and an additional tartan pitch for various sports activities such as soccer or basketball by the lake. In summer, the Dieksee invites visitors to sunbathe and relax at its small sandy beach along the lakeshore. Other places near the Dieksee include Laxten, Damaschke, and Sandbrinkerheide. The nearest larger town close to the Dieksee is Lingen (Ems).
