We did this well-signposted hike in both directions on 02.06.2023

You can get off at the Werbüsch hiking car park in Dahnen. We drove this route clockwise and that was a good decision for several reasons. Halfway through, you cross the Irsen on stepping stones and have to climb a ladder to continue the trail. Having the dog on the ladder is not easy. It is not feasible to take our prince, a wild thing, under his arm. That's what you're going to do. We found a solution by letting him go up to the right of the ladder on the side of the road . It went very smoothly, but he's also in good shape.

It continues with a hard, long climb. We prefer to bridge large differences in altitude on the ascent rather than on the descent.

For the rest? Put one foot in front of the other and enjoy nature, the tranquility, each other and the beautiful views that you see regularly.
