It is no coincidence that the VulkaMaar hiking trail was voted the most beautiful hike in Germany in 2021. This long-distance hike of 28 km can be divided into two stages or completed in one day. We chose the latter. Enjoy idyllic mountain paths, panoramic views of real volcanoes, and historic castles. The route is easy to follow thanks to the recognizable green and yellow signs.
