What could be better than going to your favourite lake?
On this route you got many options to choose. You can find small sandy beaches and possibilities to jump into the cold water in summer.
The tour starts in Bad Saarow and runs around the Scharmützelsee, which was declared by Theodor Fontane as the „Märkisches Meer”. You will find villas, some extravagant architecture, and a lot of history everywhere. The small village of Wendisch Rietz, which is halfway along the route, is a good place for a little break.
As a further possibility you can choose 50 extra kilometres to turn around the Storkower See and the Großer Glubigsee.
