Cyclists and hikers are recommended to go on a circuit tour from CottbusService (Stadthalle Cottbus) via Fürst-Pückler-Park and Branitz PalaceKastanienalleeKirschalleeDissenchen district to Merzdorf. The final destination is the observation tower there. Directly by the lakeside there is a path to the inlet structure. For the way back we suggest the route from Lakoma to Saspow and then along the River Spree to the city centre. On the way, a stop at the Spreewehrmühle is recommended with its restaurant and museum.
Allow some time to explore the park with its two pyramids and impressive landscape paintings on foot (cycling is not allowed in the park). Inside Branitz Palace you will also detailed information on the life and work of Prince Pueckler.
