A fantastic hike through meadows and fields in peaceful natural surroundings and with the best views. These are the brief characteristics of this loop, very close to Blieskastel.
The route starts in Böckweiler at St. Stephen's Church. The ascent towards the "Großer Kahlenberg" begins right there. The Alexander Tower was built at the end of the 19th century on the Kahlenberg, the highest point in the lower Blies Valley at 400 m above sea level. From here, you have a great view of the Blies Valley. Now the route goes slightly downhill until you cross the L103. From here, the trail continues through a nature reserve until it ends back at the starting point at the church in Böckweiler.
