WT1 Treue-Weiber-Tour

Enjoy the views of the beautiful vineyards and Lake Breitenau on this cycle tour in the Weinsberg valley.

You start this tour through the Weinsberg valley in the picturesque half-timbered streets of Erlenbach. First, follow the Sulm upstream towards Lake Breitenau. But don't worry, the Sulm is a very quiet little river and the gradient is rather gentle.

At Lake Breitenau, the largest inland body of water in the north of Baden-Württemberg, you will find a wide range of leisure activities from swimming and beach volleyball to a paradise for surfing and fishing. Not a water lover? Then why not play a round of mini-golf in Hößlinsülz.

Over a few small hills, you will reach Weinsberg, the town of faithful women - the weibertreu castle ruins tower high above the town. If you like, pay a visit to the town's landmark with the Weibertreu Museum.

From here, it's just a short walk through the vineyards back to Erlenbach - where you can enjoy Trollinger, Lemberger and other wines in one of the quaint brooms or beer gardens.
