Traumschleife Felsenweg

In close contact with nature, hikers discover impressive rock formations along the Felsenweg, experience natural elements on the barefoot path and cross "bubbling" streams on stepping stones. The archaic Roman castle with its eerie Celtic sanctuary along the way enriches the trail culturally.

The rock trail is located in the Losheim districts of Scheiden and Waldhölzbach. Mighty rock formations, spectacular views, two romantic stream valleys, the "Römerburg" with the remains of a medieval castle complex, a Celtic sanctuary, two Kneipp facilities, the beautifully situated barefoot path, several newly created forest paths and numerous orchards: There is never a dull moment on this eventful hiking tour.The trail was voted Hiking Trail of the Year 2005. The Felsenweg was awarded 100 experience points by the German Hiking Institute.
