Traumschleifchen Bardenbacher Fels

The Bardenbacher Fels is a nature reserve that has been designated since 1969 and includes the most striking rock section and the floodplains of the Prims river. Extremely species-rich vegetation has developed in the gorges and difficult-to-access precipices. The main aim is to protect one of the last remaining fragments of floodplain forest in Saarland - the rest of the hardwood floodplain.

This easy but exciting family hiking tour starts at the Prims bridge at the Bardenbach sports ground. The route begins by following the meandering Prims river, with the imposing walls of the Bardenbach cliffs to the left and the floodplains and meadows to the right.</p
