With its varied 17.9 kilometers, the Pfalzwerke tour is the longest route in the Saarpfalz district and demands a good level of fitness from walkers. The route leads from Herbitzheim to Bliesdalheim and from here steeply uphill to Platte and Haus Sonne. From here it is downhill again to Walsheim, past the outdoor pool and then immediately uphill again into the Sangenwald forest. The trail continues along the former "Duser Straße", an old salt road, and then back downhill to Bliesdalheim and along the same route to Walsheim.
