Description by the author

Medium-difficulty, very varied circular tour of approx. 55 km in length and approx. 320 meters in altitude on well-surfaced, mostly asphalted paths with several climbs. Refreshing forests and idyllic meadow landscapes as well as six ponds with a recreational factor and the pedestrian zone of the biosphere town of St. Ingbert for strolling and strolling round off the "garden-rich" tour.

Characteristic of this round tour are the three enchanted "gardens with history", which want to be discovered. You start at the train station in Blieskastel-Lautzkirchen on the "Adebartour" in the direction of Kirkel. The route passes small settlements and forests and leads to the well-signposted "Sieben-Weihertour" to Glashütter Weiher and Wombacher Weiher to the Gustav-Clauss-Anlage, the "green lung" of St. Ingbert - the first "garden with history". There are various places to rest at the ponds as well as cafés and restaurants in the pedestrian zone of St. Ingbert. After a stop at the park, the route continues to the next "garden with history" - the Elstersteinpark. The cycle tour continues past the Elstersteinpark retirement home to the Gustav-Clauss-Anlage and through the pedestrian zone of St. Ingbert to the center of Rentrisch. From here it would be possible to shorten the tour by approx. 8 km. The route would then lead via Rentrisch and the "Sieben-Weihertour" through the forest to St. Ingbert-Sengscheid. If you don't want to take this shortcut, continue the tour to Saarbrücken-Schafbrücke and via the "velo-vis-à-vis route" to Sengscheid. From there, the "Sieben-Weihertour" leads via St- Ingbert-Reichenbrunn and Oberwürzbach to the idyllically situated Würzbacher Weiher - the last "garden with history". There are several places to rest and recharge your batteries. A beer garden by the pond, the Café am See, the Würzbach train station and the Annahof are popular addresses. The tour continues via Blieskastel-Niederwürzbach to Lautzkirchen and finally ends back at Lautzkirchen railroad station.
