This tour is perfect for a short evening tour or a leisurely family outing at the weekend. In the medieval town of Wertheim, cyclists can expect a whole host of sights, above all the castle ruins towering over the town. However, Wertheim offers much more as a listed complex: whether it's a stroll through the alleyways of the old town with its historic half-timbered houses, a look inside St. Kilian's Chapel or a visit to the glass museum - Wertheim is simply worth a visit.

During the tour around the large Main loop, it is also worth making a stop at the factory outlet center "Wertheim Village". You can also fill your panniers with some tempting energy food for the road in the adjoining store of the chocolate manufacturer "Art of Chocolate" or - also next door - practice a headstand in Toppels Verdrehter Welt. The wine villages of Dertingen and Lindelbach, on the other hand, invite you to sample one of the fine wines that, thanks to the mild climate brought about by the River Main, know how to impress with their particular excellence.
