Hagnauer Obst- und Weinwanderweg

Round trail through vineyards and orchards, leading to points with unique views of Lake Constance and the Alps.

Along the way, information boards provide information about wine and fruit growing, as well as many interesting facts about the municipality of Hagnau.

The Hagnau fruit and wine trail, inaugurated in May 1995, starts at the tourist information office and leads along a 5.5 km circular route to the most beautiful viewpoints in the Hagnau district.

Enjoy the view of Lake Constance and the Alps from the Wilhelmshöhe: here you will find some beautiful benches and a panorama board. The Starenturm tower, on the top floor of which grape guards have their place, can also be climbed a few meters high and offers a wonderful panoramic view.On the way, hikers can find information about fruit growing and viticulture on over 25 information boards. The text panels are divided into descriptions of the individual fruit and grape varieties, each with a picture, and technical topics on fruit growing and viticulture. There is not only information on cultivation and the work in the annual cycle, but also tips and recipes from the Hagnau kitchen (e.g. Chriesemichel or Hagnau Linzertorte). The texts are enriched and livened up by quotes from Pastor Dr. Heinrich Hansjakob.A board next to the wine shop of the winegrowers' association, just a few meters from the town hall, introduces the topic.
