KJ13 Widdern-Unterkessach-Rundweg

On the almost 10 km long circular trail, you hike up and down through the picturesque surroundings of the small town of Widdern.

On the historic circular trail through the old town center, you can trace the history of the town. Along the way, it is worth visiting the Unterkessach Forge and Local History Museum. A guided tour will give you an overview of historical ways of life as well as furnishings and handicrafts. The Henkersbrunnen fountain with lake and barbecue area invites you to take a short break. If you haven't had enough at the starting point, you can visit the historic bakery. It was renovated true to the original as part of a community project with the active participation of committed citizens and now presents itself to the public in new splendor.
