WT21 Durch Wald und Wein

Circular hiking trail through the forest and vineyards around Obersulm-Eichelberg and Löwenstein-Altenhau.

From the Alte Kelter in Eichelberg, the trail climbs steeply for a short distance up to Friedrichshof. This is where the wooded part of the hike begins. The wide, paved forest path meanders along the slope, so there are no longer any major inclines along the way. Shortly before Altenhau, the landscape opens up towards the Weinsberg valley. Passing the Löwenstein Protestant conference center, the trail leads through a short section of forest into the vineyard. Shortly before this, it is worth making a short detour to the Eichelberg war memorial with another great view. A long flight of steps and easy vineyard paths take you back to Eichelberg.
