Our hiking tour around Lerbach shows many different facets of the Harz region.

Relax from the stressful everyday life in the nature of the Harz region. Our starting point leads directly into a beautifully located beech forest in Lerbach.

Afterwards, continue hiking to the observation tower Kuckholzklippe. From there, you have a beautiful view of the Harz region and its foothills.

Directions

The hiking tour starts at the fire station opposite Liethweg. 50 m away from the main road, a small narrow path branches off, leading directly into a beech forest.

Following the path, we reach Summerbergweg. We follow the course to the right until we reach a small sign for Lerbacher Eisensteingruben after about 400 m. We continue hiking to the observation tower Kuckholzklippe. From there, the path leads over Clausberg directly to the Waldschwimmbad-Gaststätte. We then continue up to Marienblick. Following the Harzer Hexen-Stieg to the Schafmeistertal junction, you will directly return to the starting point.

Directions

Follow the B241 towards Clausthal-Zellerfeld. Turn right onto Obere Harzstraße. Then turn left immediately to stay on Obere Harzstraße. It merges into Liethweg.
