Right at the beginning of the path stands the late Romanesque church of St. Micheln, which belongs to the Romanesque Road in Saxony-Anhalt.
The church of St. Micheln can hardly be described more beautifully than by the merchant Willy Arndtz in a poem written in 1928 (excerpt from the poem): On the mountain at the highest point Stands the old and gray little church. Below it the Geiselquelle Above it the skys blue.
The varied path leads across meadows, along the edge of the forest, and through the forest. To conclude, you return to the Geiselquelle. The pure pleasure lies in wading in the water at such a beautiful place.
