From Jüterbog to Wittenberg - The Luther-Tetzel-Way

Today, it offers cyclists and hikers insights into the medieval thought world with information, representations, and exhibitions, and is also suitable for simply covering a beautiful, well-developed route under the open sky.

With its historic city center, the Zinna Monastery, and the Mönchenkloster cultural quarter, Jüterbog is definitely worth a longer stay. In the district of Niedergörsdorf, a little off the city, a visit to the cultural center DAS HAUS should be planned at the beginning of this stage. Here, the permanent exhibition Altes Lager - 1870 to present informs about the military history of the place. In the small farm shop next to the tourist information in HAUS, you can find some provisions for the rest of the journey.

Passing by the Hochzeitsmühle Dennewitz, you will encounter some of the typical Fläming churches in the villages of Vorfläming. The next stop should be the Farmers Museum in Zahna. It provides insights into the life of farmers around 1920 and showcases an extensive collection of tractors that will amaze young and old alike.

Finally, the cycle path leads past the Skulpturenpark Bülzig until, after another 10 kilometers, you arrive in the city of the Reformation - Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
