Description

This well-marked hiking trail leads exclusively through more or less light forest areas from Ziegelhütte (P) to Rolfshagen, a former forest farm as a remnant of a devastated village, and back to Ziegelhütte. Here, an alternative presents itself by continuing from Rolfshagen to Oberpanshausen and further through the Schaube and below Breitenberg and Hohe Hagen back to Ziegelhütte. The total length of the trail is approx. 9.2 Km. It is recommended to take the Lamspringer Leisure & Hiking Map with you. Furthermore, you can hike from Rolfshagen to Mechtshausen to visit the Wilhelm Busch Museum and his grave.
