Family trip to the Elbe River and the Vorfläming region

Description

Starting from the city center of Wittenberg, you ride on the Elbe Cycle Path through the Elbe floodplains to the small village of Gallien. Here you can take a break at the excursion restaurant Zum Schiffchen, which is popular mainly for its great view of the Elbe. At Iserbegka, you leave the Elbe Cycle Path and ride towards Külso via Dietrichsdorf. The Külso Mill is located directly in the Fläming Nature Park. In addition to a restaurant and beer garden, there is also a playground, petting zoo, and nature trail on the premises.
On the return journey, dont miss the Sculpture Park in Bülzig. Since 1993, sculptures made of metal and wood by various artists have been exhibited there. From Bülzig, the Berlin-Leipzig cycle path leads directly back to the historic center of Wittenberg.
