From the place where once the worlds largest and most modern lignite power plant was built, take a tour towards the Goitzsche Lake region.
This stage leads through the town of Zschornewitz. A visit to the factory settlement is worthwhile here. It gives visitors an insight into the time of social construction and housing at the beginning of the 20th century. From there, the route takes you around the Muldestausee past the House by the Lake to Bitterfeld. There, the Goitzsche Lake region offers a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities.
