Naturparke-Gravel-Crossing Tag 9 - Von Buchenbach nach Muggenbrunn

On the ninth stage of the "Naturparke-Gravel-Crossing", you climb Baden-Württemberg's highest mountain, the Feldberg at 1493 m. The many meters in altitude are rewarded with magnificent views!

The stage from Buchenbach to Muggenbrunn over the Feldberg covers 50 km and around 1450 m in altitude. Right at the start of the tour, the first strenuous climb to Breitnau awaits you, where you can already see the Feldberg in the distance. Via Hinterzarten and past the lively Titisee, you cycle through the beautiful Seebachtal valley. The Raimartihof, including a well-equipped kiosk, offers you an idyllic place to stop for a short break to gather your strength and recharge your batteries and is only a few meters away from the route. You should also not miss the crystal-clear and almost circular Feldsee lake (600m on foot from the Raimartihof). Please note that you are in the oldest, largest and highest nature reserve in Baden-Württemberg, so please be considerate. After the break, follow the Seesträßle and the sometimes very steep Ernst-Maurer-Weg through the Bannwald forest and climb to the Feldberg village. The House of Nature awaits you here with its permanent exhibition on the subject of "Man and Nature". The route then continues with the best Black Forest panorama via the Feldbergsträßle past the summit, which is just a short detour away, and the Todtnauer Hütte to the Stübenwasen (1389 m). Here, the longest tree lounger in the world invites you to take another short break. On sunny days, you can see the Alps with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as the Vosges mountains! The last few kilometers you roll downhill past the Stübenwasen mountain inn to Muggenbrunn, your destination for today.
