Carefully designed adventure trail with information boards and hands-on stations for modern forest education. An excursion tip for families near Lake Breitenau.

To make sure the 1.5 kilometers don't get boring, there are plenty of hands-on activities along the way: A tree telephone or forest xylophone invite you to play. Measuring the height of a tree provides exciting insights.The forest adventure trail leads through a mixed deciduous forest - a real treat on hot summer days. Information and information boards about native tree species and forest inhabitants or the geology of the forest accompany the trail.

The forest adventure trail was designed in collaboration with the HeilbronnerLand forest network. WaldNetzWerk e.V. raises awareness of nature, forests and culture in HeilbronnerLand and conveys their connections in an exciting way.

Excursion tips

• Combine the forest nature trail with the wine nature trail on the Zeilberg for a varied, short hike. On the educational wine trail, there is plenty to discover about viticulture and the inhabitants of vineyards in a beautiful panoramic location. Total distance approx. 4.5 km
• Break at the "Bauchert" vineyard, where you can see wild bees and wild herbs
  
• Visit & break at the Affaltrach Jewish cemetery
  (not directly on the adventure trail)
