An easy circular walk through the Bienz forest and
the Bodenmöser nature reserve.
The easy circular trail takes us past St. Stephen's Chapel from the 16th/17th century. The historic St. Stephen's Ride takes place here every year on December 26. As early as the Middle Ages, many riders came to the village to ride around the chapel, which was dedicated to St. Stephen. We cross the Hasenmoos, the Bienz forest and enjoy the impressions of the landscape. In the Bodenmöser nature reserve, the nature trail provides information about the fen habitats, their forms of cultivation and the flora and fauna. We walk along the Martinusweg for a while and visit the medieval processional cross in the parish church of St. Benedikt. The Eisenharz town hall, built in 1998, houses the guest office and in front of it the water gushes from the town hall fountain with its history of Allgäu farming.
