Pure refreshment!

Get out of the city and take a deep breath. This challenging tour offers unspoilt nature as well as culture and therefore refreshment for body and soul.

Danube cycle path in the direction of Blochingen. The tour starts relatively flat

and crosses the Danube shortly before Blochingen. From now on, the

route climbs steadily. From Blochingen, the route continues to Heudorf and

Hitzkofen to Bingen. If you like, you can make a detour to the ruins

Hornstein here. From Bingen, the route first leads through the Lauchertal valley and

then continues uphill across the Swabian Alb to Storzingen. The

Half of the route is now complete. The highest point is just before

Storzingen and is 800 m above sea level. From here,

it goes downhill again into the Schmeiental. Between Oberscheien and Sigmaringen

it then goes uphill again. From Sigmaringen, where the castle invites you to

visit, the route runs through the Danube valley. One last ascent

is the Hipfelsberg just before Ennetach. You can round off

the tour with a visit to the Gaggli NudelHaus or in the

Mengen's old town.
