The twin rivers Kocher and Jagst (hence the tour name!) flow into the Neckar not far from each other. The cycle tour takes you just over 100 kilometers through beautiful, unspoilt landscapes in the central Kocher and Jagst valleys. Interesting and historic places await you along the way. The tour can be started at any of the towns along the route and can also be cycled in both directions.
Our suggestion starts in Künzelsau in the Kocher valley, leads up the Kocher to Braunsbach, where you reach the neighboring Jagst valley after a climb to Nesselbach. There, it is worth making a detour to Langenburg with its castle, castle museum and German car museum, which can be seen from afar. From Langenburg, the route continues idyllically along the Jagst without any ascents. Via Mulfingen, the castle community of Dörzbach, Krautheim to Schöntal Monastery and Jagsthausen. Here you can change valleys again at the point where the Kocher and Jagst rivers meet. From Sindringen, the route follows the Kocher along the steep vineyards on shell limestone via Forchtenberg, Weißbach, Niedernhall and Ingelfingen back to the starting point.
