Description by the author

Circular hike with a few meters of elevation gain, which connects the Alb plateau near Tieringen with the Alb foreland near Hausen am Tann.

Starting at the Heidenhof hiking parking lot, the trail leads up to the Rappenstein with wonderful views of the Schlichemtal valley as far as the northern Black Forest and also to the Lochen, Schafberg and Plettenberg. Steep descent into the Schlichemtal, past the "Käppelle", through varied orchards back again.
